The York Parks and Recreation Department is the home of the City Auditorium, Ballpark Complex, Community Center, Family Aquatic Center and City Parks. We offer a wide range of youth, adult and community programming and events. The City Auditorium is the perfect space to host your next event. We have areas for small gatherings along with the main arena which can seat 900+ in the balcony and 450 chairs and with tables on the floor. The Community Center features Fun City, 25 yard swimming pool and spa, weight room, basketball court, and racquetball court. We offer daily, month, 6 month and annual memberships. The Family Aquatic Center has a 50 meter swimming pool with a zero depth play area, two slides with plunge pool. The Ballpark Complex is a 7 field multi-use softball/baseball complex along with 1 baseball grass infield field. The City has nine parks within the city limited. Park features include a skate park and splash pad at Harrison Park. Miller Park has three ball fields with playground. East Hill Park has Levitt Stadium, a 2-5 year old playground along with a 5-12 year old playground. Foster Park is an Arboretum. Mincks Park is the home of the Peyton Parker Lane Playground, the Family Aquatic Center and a 1-mile walking/biking trail.
Beaver Creek Park is a 3 mile walking/biking trail with a football field.
