The Parks and Recreation Department employs almost 100 people throughout the year in part-time or seasonal positions.
Complex Maintenance and Grounds Crew
This position will work days, evenings and weekends maintaining the Ballpark Complex for practices, games and tournaments. Duties include routine building and grounds maintenance of the complex.
Lifeguards are the most needed, and in order to become a lifeguard, one must successfully complete the Lifeguard Training Course. This includes rescue skills, CPR/AED certification, and first aid training. If you are at least 15 and a good swimmer, you might just qualify!
Youth Program Supervisors are needed to help with all youth programs. Person must enjoy kids, and be not afraid to get dirty, and able to work after 3pm. Must be at least 15 years old.
Front Desk Supervisors are needed to staff the front desk of the Community Center and Auditorium. Front Desk responsibilities include all customer service, selling memberships, welcoming patrons, taking reservations, and dealing with daily deposits.
Adult League Referees are needed to referee adult leagues. Most leagues are after 6pm one/two nights a week.
Adult League Supervisors are needed to supervisor adult leagues. Most leagues are after 6pm one/two nights a week.
Fitness Class Instructors are needed. Are you certified in teaching a class? Let us know and we'll offer the class, and you can teach it!
