We would like to welcome you to the York Police Department website. We are the primary law enforcement agency for the city of York, Nebraska. Our agency is staffed with 18 full-time commissioned police officers, a support service officer, and two support staff serving a population of nearly 8,000 people along with our visitors, in an area of 6 square miles.
We provide 24/7 law enforcement & public safety service within the community. Our public assistance counter is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with normal holidays observed.
